At LinkedIn one of our cultural tenets is transformation - of ourselves, our company and our world, for the better. We're a culture that aspires to make an impact and this commitment is more important now than ever. Since the emergence of the coronavirus, many of our employees have found ways to step up and support organizations that they care about with their time or financial resources.
Through our newly expanded Recruiting For Good program LinkedIn’s recruiters have raised their hands to source and screen talent for organizations on the front lines to help fill urgent paid and volunteer positions quickly.
As a company, we’ve made $500K in corporation donations to the National Urban League, Southern Poverty Law Center, NAACP, the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, and others who work on advocacy and economic justice for the Black community. We are also providing employees with a list of suggested organizations that they can donate to through our matching gifts program and we will match their donations up to $15K.
LinkedIn employees are also supporting our impacted members by volunteering their time through LinkedIn Coaches, providing virtual career advice and mentoring to thousands of job seekers globally. They are supporting nonprofit organizations that are on the front lines of the fight against coronavirus with time and donations which are then matched by LinkedIn through our matching gifts program.
