LinkedIn and Persona further expand verification partnership

Today, we shared that we are making identity verification available to millions of new people in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

LinkedIn verification is a free service we introduced this year for every member of the global workforce to have the ability to verify at least one attribute of their professional identity. Since launching, more than 18 million people on LinkedIn have signed up globally.

The expansion of our partnership with Persona marks another step towards our aspirational goal to have 100 million verified members by 2025, announced last October by our head of Trust and Privacy, Oscar Rodriguez.
