2022 State of the Latino Workforce Report
Today we released data that sheds light on the barriers Latino professionals continue to face in the workplace today. As we work to build a more inclusive workforce for all, we hope these insights provide a path forward and help companies create cultures that not only accept but fully encourage all professionals to bring their authentic selves to work.
While significant advances have been made, and 87% of Latino professionals feel that diversity and equity are important to the senior leaders at their workplace, nearly half noted that they have faced blatant discrimination and/or micro-aggressions at work (44%) or have been overlooked for career opportunities due to the color of their skin (43%).
As we continue to acknowledge and celebrate our unique differences, it’s key that companies set actionable goals that address the obstacles Latinos continue to face in the workplace.
Methodology: YouGov conducted research on behalf of LinkedIn, online between August 18, 2021 - August 31, 2021 among 2,021 Latino professionals, ages 18-55+, in the U.S.
