LinkedIn joins Digital Trust & Safety Partnership

Today we announced our participation in the Digital Trust & Safety Partnership, a first-of-its-kind initiative to create a safer and more trustworthy internet. We will join Discord, Facebook, Inc., Google, Microsoft, Patreon, Pinterest, Reddit, Shopify, Twitter, and Vimeo, in developing industry best practices, reviewed through internal and independent third-party assessments, to ensure member safety.

Joining this partnership is one way we’ll continue to be transparent in how we keep our community safe, trusted, and professional. We will continue to regularly communicate our progress through our Transparency Report. In May, we shared that our automated defenses blocked the vast majority (98.3%) of the fake accounts we took action on during the period, and also contributed to quicker removal and an overall decrease of spam and scam content. Our guiding principles ensure we honor our responsibility to protect our members and maintain their trust in every decision we make.
