LinkedIn Business Highlights from Microsoft’s FY21 Q2 Earnings
Yesterday, Microsoft announced Q2 FY21 Earnings. Included in the report on the financial performance were the following LinkedIn highlights:
In Q2 FY21, LinkedIn revenue increased 23%% year-over-year.
We saw record engagement again this quarter as LinkedIn’s nearly 740 million professionals looked to connect, learn, and find new opportunities.
Sessions increased 30%, conversations were up 48%, and hours spent on LinkedIn Learning were up 2X, compared to a year ago.
Our advertising business had a record quarter, accounting for more than a third of LinkedIn’s total revenue.
Marketing Solutions was up over 50%, as advertisers increasingly turn to the platform as the trusted way to reach professionals ready to do business.
We continue to benefit from the secular shift to remote selling, with organizations using the combination of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Dynamics 365 to ensure salespeople have the context they need to sell remotely. New tools are also helping sales organizations use LinkedIn data to identify and size opportunities.
