LinkedIn Business Highlights from Microsoft’s FY21 Q1 Earnings
Yesterday, Microsoft announced Q1 FY21 Earnings. Included in the report on the financial performance were the following LinkedIn highlights:
- In Q1 FY21, LinkedIn revenue increased 16% year-over-year.
We saw record engagement again this quarter as LinkedIn’s more than 722 million professionals looked to connect with their communities, learn new skills, and find new opportunities.
Job seeking activity is at record levels, with nearly 40 million people using the platform to search for jobs each week and 3 people hired every minute on LinkedIn.
Professionals are turning to LinkedIn Learning more than ever to increase their knowledge capital, watching more than 1 million hours of content each week, more than double the amount a year ago.
This quarter, we also launched our most significant redesign in years, including a new look, streamlined search and messaging experience, as well as a new way of connecting and sharing with Stories.
In Marketing Solutions, advertiser demand on LinkedIn returned to near pre-COVID-19 levels, up 40% year-over-year, as marketers use our tools to connect with professionals ready to do business.
Organizations also continue to tap into a combination of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Dynamics 365 to ensure salespeople have the context they need to sell remotely.
