We analyzed LinkedIn data to find the industries where your professional network matters most - and least - and the results may surprise you. Industries where highly specialized training was required saw the most professionals tapping their network to land the job, including animation, computer networking, and semiconductors. On the flipside, industries that rely less on their professional networks include a variety of medical fields and more creative professions.
