LinkedIn Names Steve Sordello as Chief Financial Officer
Mountain View, CA — June 26, 2007 — LinkedIn Corporation, the world’s largest and most effective professional network, today announced that Steve Sordello has been named Chief Financial Officer. Steve was most recently CFO for Tivo Inc., the creator and leader in television services for digital recorders.
“Steve is a proven Silicon Valley veteran who will be invaluable as we manage our explosive growth,” said Dan Nye, CEO, LinkedIn. “Steve was chosen from a long list of candidates because of his track record of accomplishments, outstanding references, and a clear understanding of the company we are trying to build.”
While CFO at Tivo, Sordello helped the company achieve its first ever quarter of profitability. He holds an MBA and B.A. from Santa Clara University. “This is an incredible opportunity to join a company that is changing the way the world does business,” said Steve Sordello, CFO, LinkedIn. “Not only has LinkedIn had phenomenal growth, but also achieved profitability in a relatively short amount of time.
