The Compassion Award grand prize winner will be announced at the summit

  • Any individual LinkedIn member in most global locations, either representing themselves or their organization, may apply. Applicants must meet LinkedIn age restrictions. See Terms and Conditions.

  • Your contest entry will be a video of up to 90 seconds, posted from your LinkedIn profile, using the hashtag #LinkedInCompassionAward.

The video should include:

1. How you (and/or your team) are bringing compassion to the world.
2. How you would use the grand prize award money to accelerate or scale your efforts.
3. How LinkedIn’s involvement could help amplify or help.

Ideally, your LinkedIn profile should also help tell the story of the compassion work you’re doing.

  • Yes. Someone from our team will acknowledge your submission in the comments section of your video post within 48 hours. If you do not receive notification please make sure that you are using the correct hashtag #LinkedInCompassionAward (check spelling!) and that your post is visible to the public.

  • Yes! And, we’d also like to hear from them. They will need to submit their own entry as well.

  • We accept entries from any type of organization. We’d like to highlight the work any organization or company is doing in the world of compassion. Ideally, the application comes from the leader that best represents that work.

  • Your entry must be in English

  • All entries must be received between 6:00 am Pacific Time on Thursday, May 16th, 2019 and 11:59 pm Pacific Time on Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 (the “Entry Period”).

  • Yes, we’d like to hear your great idea. And…priority will be given to those with a proven track record of achievement in this space.

  • No. There is a limit of one entry per individual or company. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than one entry by using multiple/different email or addresses, accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries.
  • You may include multiple people in your video representing your company/product but the actual entry must be submitted only once, by one individual.

  • In this case we’ll value substance over style. Feel free to shoot the video with your smart phone. We encourage you to be natural.
